The National Trial Lawyers Top 100

The National Trial Lawyers: The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 is an invitation-only organization composed of the premier trial lawyers from each state or region who meet stringent qualifications as civil plaintiff and/or criminal defense trial lawyers. Selection is based on a thorough multi-phase objective and uniformly applied process which includes peer nominations combined with third-party research. Membership is extended only to the select few of the most qualified attorneys from each state or region who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature, and public profile measured by objective and uniformly applied standards in compliance with state bar and national Rule 4-7.

Million Dollar Advocates Forum

The Million Dollar Advocates Forum is one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million-dollar verdicts and settlements. Fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.

 Super Lawyers

Super Lawyers is a lawyer rating service recognizing outstanding lawyers fro more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations. Tom has been nominated as a Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyer every year since 2012 recognizing him as being in the top two and a half percent of lawyers in Missouri and Kansas.  

National Association of Consumer Advocates

The National Association of Consumer Advocates (NACA) is a nonprofit association of more than 1,500 attorneys committed to representing consumers' interests. NACA Attorneys are dedicated to representing consumers victimized by fraudulent, abusive, and predatory business practices. As a national organization fully committed to promoting justice for consumers, NACA's members and their clients are actively engaged in promoting a fair and open marketplace that forcefully protects the rights of consumers, particularly those of modest means. Tom has been a proud member of NACA for many years and is one of only 35 NACA Attorneys in the State of Missouri and one of only 17 who practice in the Kansas City Metropolitan area.

The Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys

The Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA) is a statewide membership association with approximately 1,200 attorneys.  MATA members are dedicated to defending the rights of individuals to pursue justice when they are injured, protecting the civil justice system, preserving the Missouri Nonpartisan Court Plan, and maintaining high standards of professional ethics, competency, and demeanor among trial attorneys. Tom is a proud member of MATA.

The Avvo lawyer directory provides Avvo-rated profiles, client reviews, and peer endorsements for 97 percent of all lawyers in the United States. The Avvo attorney directory may also include client reviews, disciplinary actions, and peer endorsements.

Tom has the highest “Superb” AVVO rating of 10.0 as both a Personal Injury and Consumer Protection Attorney.

The Missouri Bar

The Missouri Bar was created in 1944 by order of the Supreme Court of Missouri. Its mission is to improve the legal profession, the administration of justice, and law. Through educational programs, publications, and more, The Missouri Bar serves as a valuable resource for members—and for the citizens of Missouri. All policies and programs of The Missouri Bar are either developed or overseen by the bar's Board of Governors, a 45-member group of elected lawyers who represent the members in their districts.
